Hugh Jackman opened the 2014 Tony Awards by….bouncing on stage. Yep, it’s as weird as it sounds. Check out the video above.
The Aussie star, who was opening the awards ceremony in LA for the fourth time, followed the theme of may teasers released of him bouncing.
He hopped for almost five minutes at the start of the show at the Radio City Music Hall.
Any context? Not really. And unsurprisingly, the Twitter-sphere were unimpressed, labeling it weird, horrible and boring.
And the big question on everyone’s lips was: what was the actual point? Come on Hugh, is this an inside joke…or are we just being nice but dim?
