Tom Hardy reveals: ‘I wear Elton John’s old clothes!’

Movie babe Tom Hardy, who is set to play Elton John in a biopic, has found a weird way to get into character.
Cast in the upcoming flick Rocketman, Tom is faced with the challenge of playing the legend. But instead of simply getting to know the singer, the smokin’ hot actor has taken it one (rather creepy) step further!
“When I play a real person, I like to have bits of them,” Tom, 36, says. “I try and grab as much 'kit' off them as possible."
We just hope Tom asked the flamboyant singer’s permission before helping himself to his threads. Especially since he joked he’d “sell it on eBay” later!
But it’s going to take more than novelty glasses and sequin jackets to help Tom nail the part. There’s one small issue bothering him…he can’t actually sing! Kind of a key skill to have if you’re playing a famous singer, right?
“[It’s] terrifying me,” he admits to the Wall Street Journal. “I can’t hold a tune to save my life. God knows how I’m going to do that!” Maybe he should ask Sir Elton for tips next time he’s raiding his wardrobe?
