The Bachelorette 2017: This Instagram clue might reveal a surprise winner
Could an underdog prevail after all?
With Sophie Monk due to hand out her final rose in a matter of days, a new clue has emerged that points to a different final chapter on The Bachelorette.
Sophie's best friend, Oscar Gordon, appears to follow 24-year-old Apollo Jackson on Instagram. He does not, however, have any social media ties to the other two remaining suitors, Jarrod Woodgate and frontrunner Stu Laundy.
While 44-year-old multi-millionaire Stu has long been tipped as the Bachie favourite, this new detail could shake things up.
It wouldn't be completely surprising after last week's shock revelation in which Stu -- a father of four with his ex-wife -- admitted he had undergone a vasectomy. (Sophie, 37, has been clear throughout the show that she wants children.)
Of course, Stu did coin the possibility of a reversal.
"You can get them reversed obviously, and I would easily go there if the situation arose," Stu told TV Week.
However, that's not to say there is a 100-percent success rate.
Which brings us back to young Apollo.
Why would Soph's BFF be following a 24-year-old dude, who just so happens to be on the same show as his gal pal, anyway? Perhaps because he's already met the man (Apollo) who swept Soph off her feet weeks ago when filming wrapped?
Maybe he's welcomed Apollo into the friendship group with open arms! Maybe they've been hanging out in secret all this time!
Or maybe this is just a red herring to throw us off the scent of the real winner: Stu Laundy.
