Taylor Swift's new music video confirms a huge Swiftie theory - and maybe sparks a new one

Taylor Swift recently closed out the European leg of the Eras Tour with her final show in London, and while many fans were disappointed the theory she would announce Reputation TV was wrong, Swift opted for another surprise instead.

Following her show, the Cruel Summer singer gave concertgoers a first look at the new music video for I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.

The video features a behind-the-scenes look at the Eras Tour, with several clips of Swift rehearsing and running around backstage. One has even confirmed a years-long rumour.

For years, fans have speculated as to how the pop superstar arrived backstage at her concerts, because with the territory of performing on makeshift stages inside stadiums comes one issue - there's nowhere to hide.

So how has Swift never been spotted traveling from her dressing room to backstage before the show?

Well, fans have always suspected a large cleaning cart often seen being rolled around backstage could have Swift hiding in it, but the theory was never confirmed. Until now.

About 30 seconds into the music video, Swift is seen in costume for the opening set of the concert, climbing into the cleaning cart.

While many fans suspected that's where Swift had been hiding all these years, many were shocked to learn that rather than crouching down to hide herself, the cart is designed with a seat in it.

A chariot fit for a queen, if you will.

While the theory Swift was going to announce Reputation (Taylor's Version) during her final London show turned out to be wrong, that hasn't stopped Swifties from quickly coming up with a brand new theory.

Some eagle-eyed fans noticed the stadium shown at the beginning of the music video is AT&T stadium in Texas, the same location the Reputation stadium tour movie was filmed.

"SO this was an Easter egg for Rep TV and I am CONVINCED it's coming at the VMA's," wrote one fan on Twitter.

So it seems we'll be waiting with bated breath for the VMAs to kick off on September 12 to see if yet another Reputation TV theory falls through. Or maybe this one will actually stick.
