Sylvia Jeffreys talks marriage, babies and partying at the Logies

Just because Sylvia Jeffreys' Fiji honeymoon is over doesn't mean this Sunday will be a quiet night for her.

The newly married TODAY journalist and presenter will celebrate the Logies – for which the breakfast show is nominated Best News Panel or a Current Affairs Program – as well as her 31 birthday.

"I am not at risk of falling into that post-honeymoon lull because I've got the Logies to look forward to and also my birthday, so the celebrations keep rolling on for me," she told The Daily Telegraph.

The Brisbane-born newlywed will be admiring her TV co-host Lisa Wilkinson's partying ways on the night.

"I'll tell you who is an example — Lisa," she revealed. "Lisa doesn't sleep, she just pushes through every year.

"She's not a huge drinker, she stays up and she parties and always looks a million bucks."

Sylvia returned to work this week after marrying Peter Stefanovic – her co-host Karl's younger brother – on April 1.

They married in a beautiful ceremony at Kangaroo Valley and told fans it was the "best day of our lives".

But she won't be taking her new husband's name.

"We decided it is the best thing for me to keep it," she explained .

And, of course, the pregnancy rumours have already started.

"Someone tweeted me this morning and asked me if I'm hiding a baby (bump) because I was wearing a peplum jacket," she said. "Here we go, it begins!"

The 59th Annual TV Week Logies airs on April 23 on Nine.
