Celebrities defend Kim Kardashian after the reality star is robbed in Paris

Kim Kardashian was understandably "badly shaken", according to reports, after she was bound, gagged, held at gunpoint and robbed in Paris.

But not everyone felt sympathetic for the 35-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star after that traumatic experience.

Really? Seriously.

As trolls spewed hate about Kim all over social media, celebrities like her friend Chrissy Teigen, 30, James Corden, 38, and more came to her defence.

"Some s--- just isn't funny. I see you trying, but it isn't," Teigen tweeted, referring to the robbery.

"She begged for them to let her live and [said] she has babies at home. Then they wrapped her mouth in tape and put her in the bathtub," the source continued.

"She thought they were for sure going to kill her," the source said, adding that after the men fled the scene on bikes with all of her jewelry, she "broke out of her bindings and got out."

That jewelry included one of her rings, worth an estimated $4.49 million, as well as a jewelry box, worth an estimated $5.6 million.

Kim's main bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, was not on hand during the incident. According to the Daily Mail, he was out with Kim's sisters Kourtney Kardashian, 37, and Kendall Jenner, 20, as they enjoyed a night out at the Arc nightclub.

Kim has since fled France in a private jet. As for her husband Kanye West's whereabouts, the rapper, 39, was in the middle of his concert in New York City and cut the show short when he heard the news.
