Sophie Turner opens up about her sexuality and relationship with Joe Jonas
Sophie Turner has shared a side to her personal life that she hasn't addressed before.
In a joint interview with Game of Thrones co-star Maisie Williams for Rolling Stone, the now 23-year-old Turner opened up about her sexuality.
"Everyone experiments," said the actress, who is engaged to musician Joe Jonas, 29. "It's part of growing up. I love a soul, not a gender."
She also revealed how she knew that Jonas was "her person," even as she once believed she would never settle down with anyone.

"I was fully preparing myself to be single for the rest of my life," the actress continued. "I think once you've found the right person, you just know. I feel like I'm much older a soul than I am in age. I feel like I've lived enough life to know. I've met enough guys to know -- I’ve met enough girls to know. I don’t feel 22. I feel like 27, 28."
Turner and Jonas confirmed their engagement news in October 2017, both sharing a photo of their hands clasped and her stunning diamond ring on Instagram.
Last week, Jonas confirmed on The Late Show with James Corden that they plan to wed later this year.
As for her friendship with Williams, 21, Turner told the magazine that it was BFF status at first sight. They met during a chemistry test read for Game of Thrones in 2009. On the show, they play warrior sisters from the Stark family, Sansa (played by Turner) and Arya (played by Williams).
"We were pretty much best friends from that second on," said Turner.
Williams recalled that their on-screen chemistry was "right" from the start.
"I thought Sophie was the coolest thing I'd ever seen," Williams said. "I get why they do chemistry reads, because when it's right, it's so right. Like, we're best friends. And they could see that all those years ago, and it must have been real magic watching these two girls have the best time together."
