Selena Gomez gets trapped in a lift, leaps into survival mode: 'If we keep talking, the oxygen…'

There are few things worse than getting trapped in an elevator. So you can imagine the horror Selena Gomez felt when she found herself in that very situation recently.

We're freaking out just thinking about it.

The singer took to Twitter on Tuesday to share a video of her short-lived nightmare during her visit to the French capital for Paris Fashion Week. 

And while she seems calm at first, you can hear her gasping in the background as a guy tries to pry open the lift doors between floors. Wait up, who stops to film such a scary moment?

"If we keep talking, the oxygen…" the 23-year-old says in the clip.

From the footage, it looks like Selena and her crew all made it out safely, but you've just got to question how safe it was for them to climb out of an elevator that was stuck between floors. 

But what if the lift had started up again? Yikes.
