Ruby Rose is headed back to prison!

The 31-year-old is set to return to Orange Is the New Black in season five, reprising her role as prison inmate Stella Carlin.

The Australian model had a major role in season three of the Netflix drama as Piper Chapman's girlfriend. Ruby's role saw her make international headlines and gain a huge fanbase.

"She's back together with all the girls on the show," a source told The Daily Telegraph. "They even went to Elton John's Oscars party together in March."

While the trailer released last week showed no sign of Stella, it's believed her character will re-appear later in the season.

An Orange Is the New Black storyline in the fourth season saw Ruby return for a cameo appearance and resulted in the Litchfield Penitentiary inmate's disappearance.

The series, which has been renewed for a sixth and seventh season will return to screens on June 9.

It is loosely based on the 2010 memoir by Piper Kerman, and stars Taylor Schilling as Piper who is convicted of helping her drug smuggling, then-girlfriend, Alex Vause transport money.

Ruby is currently dating on half of The Veronicas, singer Jess Origliasso. The pair first dated on-and-off eight years. They re-connected last year when Ruby co-starred with Jess in The Veronicas' music video for the song 'On Your Side'.

Jess confirmed their relationship in an interview with Nova's Smallzy last year.

"We sort of just fell in love. It’s pretty cute, honestly," she revealed. "It’s me. Me and Ruby Rose. And it is our love story in this video."
