Bluey is a popular Australian animated series among young children, winning an award at the International Emmy Awards earlier this year.

News of Robert's voice acting feature was revealed after his mum, Terri Irwin, replied to an article on Twitter about Hollywood couple Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling. The pair admitted they love watching the show with their kids, Esmeralda Amada, six, and Amada Lee, four.

"Did you know that @RobertIrwin will be the voice of Alfie on an episode of Bluey, November 4th?" she wrote.
