Shock as Robert Irwin reveals a surprise 'passenger princess' in his car: 'C'mon, that's not your seat'

Robert Irwin has shocked fans by revealing a so-called "passenger princess" that had made itself at home in his car.

The beloved conservationist gave followers a glimpse of the eight-legged guest in its attempt to hitch a ride.

"I opened up my car door, and I didn't realise there'd already be a passenger in here." Irwin joked in the Tiktok clip.

The mystery passenger in question was soon revealed to be a huntsman spider, notorious among Australians for its formidable size and appearance.

The uninvited guest had somehow found its way into the vehicle, sitting pretty on the passenger side.

"C'mon mate, that's not your seat," Irwin was heard scolding the stowaway.

Hilariously, Irwin then proceeded to shut the passenger door and walk away, proving even wildlife conservationists have their moments where multi-legged, hairy creatures are concerned.

Robert's fans – many of whom he accumulated following his recent stint on American reality fixture Dancing With The Stars – were unfamiliar with the arachnid, expressing shock at its size.

"She is not a passenger princess, she is now the proud new owner of that car," one fan quipped.

"I'm gonna be honest Robert I don't like that passenger," supplied another.

Brendan took the opportunity to interrogate his daughter on air about said rumours, which linked her to Irwin following their joint appearance on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

Mia had initially appeared on Fevola's program to discuss her time filming the series in South Africa when the topic was raised.

"What's going on with Bob Irwin?" Fevola enquired of his daughter during the interview.

Mia responded that there was nothing between them, before stating she'd felt "set up" by the question.

Co-host Fifi Box then explained Brendan had previously seen online speculation linking the pair, and was looking to get to the bottom of it.
