Robbie Williams has been running a little social experiment over the past few days, and now he's kicked it up a notch with a little Aussie touch.

The iconic singer has been wandering around London dressed up waiting to see if anyone recognises him.

In his latest attempt, or Season Two as he refers to it, he even wore a Carlton AFL jersey.

Williams sat on a park bench wearing black pants, a Carlton jersey, and a black cap as passer by kept walking without taking any note of him.

The series has been recorded by his partner Ayda Field-Williams and they've been sharing the clips in joint Instagram posts.

"Season 2, Episode 2: Benched @robbiewilliams #heresnotlookingatyoukid," they captioned the clip.

Episode one of the season saw Williams explain that he hoped having his first name written on the back of the jersey would help fans recognise him.

It all started when Williams was walking home from lunch through Hyde Park dressed in an extravagant outfit, when he realised no one had recognised him.

"Okay so this is very concerning," he said in season one episode one. "Walking through Hyde park I'm dressed completely in pink. I've got pink sneakers on, I've got diamante sunglasses.

"Absolutely nobody has recognised me or has bothered me, and I really need them to."

He and his partner stood on the corner for a minute as they watched passers by deciding their best course of action, before Williams strutted off and mumbled, "this would've never happened in the '90s."
