Twitter is convinced that it's found Rihanna's doppelgänger, Indian model Renee Kujur

Rihanna is one of the most recognisable faces in the world. But as it turns out, she may have a twin!

Twitter went wild over the strong resemblance Renee Kujur, a model from Chhattisgarh, India, has to the Barbados-born pop star, 30.

"Dudeee she does look a lot like Rihanna. You're beautiful Renee Kujur," one fan tweeted.

In fact, Kujur has said that she's been told of it for years -- and it's even helped her follow her passion of modelling by challenging discrimination based on skin colour.

In an interview with The Hindustan Times, Kujur said early on in her career she experienced prejudice because of her darker skin tone, and that photographers and makeup artists would often lighten her skin in her photos.

"With such deep rooted prejudice in people's mind, it would have been very tough to get work. The Rihanna factor turned out to be a blessing," she said.

Kujur has totally embraced "The Rihanna Factor," recently sharing a side-by-side photo of herself and the 'Umbrella' songstress to her Instagram. Even her profile name, @badgalrenee, is a sweet nod to her "look-alike" Rihanna (whose handle is @badgalriri).

"Sometimes I [get] confuse[d] who is me," Kujur captioned the May 22 pic.

While fans seemed to be in agreement over their physical similarities on Twitter, it did appear they wanted the attention focused less on how Kujur found fame for looking like Rihanna and more on the fact that they are each beautiful in their own distinct way.

One person sounded off: "I'm actually chuffed for Renee Kujur on getting the attention she is for looking like Rihanna but it's pretty sad seeing people starting to say 'our version is better and prettier than your Rihanna.' Like it's not a competition they're both beautiful."

Another wrote: "How about, 'Meet India’s Renee Kujur.' Sounds much better doesn't it, celebrating her for who she is, not someone she might look like?"

Because yes, both ladies are indeed stunning!
