Are Richie Strahan and Alexandra Nation over?

Just 10 months after the single mum won Richie's heart on The Bachelor, it appears the couple may have called it quits.

Sydney Confidential reports that they called 32-year-old rope technician Richie on Wednesday night, but "a downcast Strahan danced around the issue and refused to shut down speculation that the couple had broken up".

And when the outlet contacted Alex, 25, she would not respond to calls for comment. The couple's agency, Chadwick Celebrity, also added fuel to the fire by refusing to comment on their clients' "personal lives".

Speculation that there was trouble in paradise began in February, when the pair were spotted having an argument on a street in Perth.

Richie and Alex, who at first regularly flaunted their relationship on Instagram, have also been notably silent online.  

Alex last featured on Richie's Instagram account on May 22, while she hasn't shared a photo with him since the Logie Awards on April 25.

And over the last month, Richie has shared a number of photos of his seemingly solo trip to Indonesia.

In May, NW magazine reported that they actually split before the Logies, but put on a "united front" for the cameras, posing together happily on the red carpet.

And while the pair occasionally still like each other's posts, their accounts have been flooded with messages from fans asking if the pair have broken up. Both parties routinely ignore the fan inquiries, despite usually being interactive with their followers.

With Alex based in Melbourne and Richie in Perth, the long-distance nature of the relationship has rumoured to have driven a wedge between the two.

It seems to be smooth sailing for two of Richie's predecessors though, with 2013 Bachelor Tim Robard recently proposing to Anna Heinrich, and 2015's Sam Wood announcing his pregnancy with fiancee Snezana Markoski in May.

Meanwhile, Matty Johnson is on the hunt for his own special Bachy love – and on Wednesday night, the nation saw his first kiss with Sydney's Laura Byrne.
