America's Next Top Model contestant Chantelle Young has a skin condition called vitiligo which causes a patchy depigmentation of her skin. See the video above.

The 19-year-old says she's on the show to prove that people shouldn't let flaws get in the way of their dreams.

"A lot of people have a story or a background," Chantelle says. "But mine is painted on my body."

Celebrities who have suffered from the same skin condition include Michael Jackson and Jon Hamm. Jon's vitiligo was reportedly stress-induced while working on Mad Men.

The next season of America's Next Top Model is set to air on US network the CW this August.
