Competing to potentially win a life-changing sum of money on TV can certainly put the pressure on quiz show contestants. But some have managed to go so badly, getting it wrong on the most basic questions.

Remember that time someone was asked, "Which of these is not a piece of jewellery commonly worn to symbolise a relationship between two people?" and she picked 'anniversary ring' instead of Burger Ring?
