Prince Harry cancels secret trip to see Meghan Markle, is probably wooing her with massive peony bouquets

When Harry (Almost) Met Meghan.

Prince Harry is reportedly 'besotted' by Suits actress Meghan Markle (who looks an awful lot like sister-in-law Pippa Middleton, just saying).

But after a string of failed romances, the 32-year-old royal is understandably a bit gun-shy about things getting too public too quickly.

The Evening Standard reports that Harry was booked on a Sunday flight from Heathrow to see the 35-year-old American actress in Toronto, where she's currently filming Suits. But when the news of their romance broke, Harry became "a no show" at the airport.

“The crew for the British Airways flight knew the Prince was booked to travel with them," a source told the Standard. "It appears he pulled out at the last minute and decided not to travel.”

Now for the good (take-it-with-a-huge-grain-of-salt) news: Throughout their long-distance love – their fling reportedly began after Harry met Meghan at a Toronto promotional event for his Invictus Games in May – it appears Harry has been wooing Meghan with her favourite flowers.

"Because I'm spoiled rotten," she captioned a gorgeous shot of peonies in July.

OK, TBH we have no idea who these flowers are from. But right around the time Meghan first met the prince in May, she Instagrammed a peony bouquet she bought for herself and wrote that it made her "so endlessly happy".

Since then, Meghan's Instagrammed no less than six peony bouquets, making special note to hashtag #spoiledrotten.

So, we choose to believe that YES, Harry has great taste in flowers and a keen eye for picking up Instagram clues – and that he's using such savvy to sweep Meghan off her feet.
