Phoebe Tonkin debuts new boyfriend Alex Greenwald

Sydney-born model and actress Phoebe Tonkin has stepped out with a brand new man, and we have the Instagram pictures to prove it.

The 30-year-old The Originals actress has confirmed that she's now dating Phantom Planet singer Alex Greenwald, making the romance Insta-official by posting an cute snap of the pair kissing.

Tonkin captioned the pic, which shows her and Greenwald embracing and kissing COVID-19-style, "wear yo masks!".

Greenwald previously teased his relationship with Tonkin when he shared a photo of her wearing a Phantom Planet shirt in April.

He jokinglywrote on Instagram, "The new @phantomplanet shirt comes with the girl. Please, please buy a shirt, it's been 21 days. I need her out of my house."

The pair have both recently come out of long-term relationships, with Tonkin having previously dated her Vampire Diaries co-star Paul Wesley for four years before they split in October 2017.

Greenwald was previously engaged to Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson, although they called off their engagement in January 2019.
