Paris Hilton knocks back mum's claims she is struggling with IVF: 'I don't know where she got that'

Paris Hilton has shut down her mother's remark that she is "struggling" with IVF, saying she and husband Carter Reum are working smoothly through the fertility process.

Speaking to TMZ, Paris looked dumbfounded when a cameraman mentioned Kathy Hilton had stated her daughter's IVF journey had been a "struggle" in an interview this week.

"I don't know where she got that, it's never been a struggle at all," Paris retorted.

Paris and her husband have just celebrated their first anniversary after tying the knot in an extravagant affair last November.

Paris told TMZ she and Reum have a number of embryos stockpiled and ready to go.

The heiress' cool composure is a stark difference to an interview Kathy Hilton gave to E! News yesterday.

Speaking on her daughter's IVF journey, she said, "It breaks my heart because I know she is trying and trying and I always say, 'Just relax'. So many people, they struggle and it doesn't just happen like that."

When Paris was asked by TMZ if her IVF journey has been a struggle emotionally, she answered with a nonchalant, "no". The Stars Are Blind singer also said she had not considered adoption.

Whilst there is no baby news on the horizon for Paris and her husband, the heiress has been busy making political waves after speaking out about the mental and sexual abuse she suffered at a 'troubled teen' camp.

Paris revealed she was forcibly removed from her home as a teen and sent to Provo Canyon School.

The star is now on a mission to draw attention to these predatory programs and shut them down – in fact, earlier this year she attended the white house to advocate against troubled teen camps and speak to other victims.
