Orlando Bloom opens up about his 'odd' relationship with Erica Packer

Weeks after being spotted together in Spain, Orlando Bloom has opened up about those romance rumours with Erica Packer.

Speaking to Confidential before his trip for Oz Comic Con next week, the 37-year-old actor said: "It probably looks odd from the outside," he said. "But I've known her for a long time. We are great mates and she is a great girl." Snooze.

Orlando and Erica first set tongues wagging when they were spotted holidaying together in Ibiza back in July. In the days after Bloom's now infamous run-in with Justin Bieber, reportedly over ex-wife Miranda Kerr, sources say Orlando looked anything but troubled in Erica's company. Watch that video below!

Nevertheless, Orlando insists that the pair are purely platonic, revealing he's friendship with Erica goes way back.

"I've known her since I was 19 back in London," he added. "I've known her before she was married to James, when she was married to James and afterwards and we are all mates."

We totally get the subtle head nod at Miranda, who has previously denied rumours she's dating Erica's ex-husband and media mogul Packer.
