Oprah Winfrey updates fans after falling onstage during her 2020 vision tour

Oprah Winfrey has fallen over her own two feet in the middle of a motivational speech on the importance of balance.

Winfrey, who was in the midst of hosting her 2020 Vision: Your Life on Focus tour on Sunday, took a dramatic tumble onstage.

The 60-year-old expressed her gratitude today by updating fans with a snap of her "reading and icing" with a cold compression wrap on her leg.

"Sunday Reading and icing. Thank you all for your kind wishes. Yes I slipped on stage and I'm now a meme," Winfrey joked in a snap of her resting on March 2. "But so grateful to be only a little sore. Turning the day into what @michelleobama calls #selfcareSunday."

In the viral video of her fall, Winfrey was in the middle of a speech that stressed the importance of finding balance in life.

"Wellness to me means all things in balance, and balance doesn't mean all things are equal or at peace at all times," Winfrey said in the video.

She then took a few steps forwards, and suffered an unfortunate fall. She instantly got up and joked that she'd worn the wrong pair of shoes for the occasion.

Soon after she fell to the floor, her longtime partner, Stedman Graham, rushed to see if she was okay, according to People.

In a few Instagram Stories posted to her official account afterwards, Winfrey addressed the mishap that has since gone viral on social media.

"I didn't even think [it was] embarrassing. I just thought, OK I fell, everybody knows what falling is," she said.

"I thought this was a great day in spite of the fall," she added. "But I picked myself up. I don't know if it was something on the floor, or my foot twisted, or what. I had the indication I was going to fall before. And then, it just is what it is. It was a great, great day."
