NRL stars Millie and Adam Elliott announce they're expecting their first child together: 'We are so excited'

Congratulations are in order for NRL power couple Millie and Adam Elliott, who have announced they're expecting their first child together!

The couple, who tied the knot in October 2023, shared the happy news with a sweet video shared on Instagram enlisting the help of Newcastle Knights star Adam's four-year-old son Lenny to film it.

In the video, the pair posed up together at the beach under an umbrella, Lenny filmed as 26-year-old Millie shows off her baby bump in a black bikini.

The big baby news explains why Millie, who plays for the Sydney Roosters in NRLW and is also part of the Jillaroos squad, was absent from the Las Vegas match over the weekend.

The prop was a notable absence from the team, but it makes sense as to why she wasn't on the field.

Alongside the announcement video she wrote: "Just how I imagined our pregnancy announcement would be - trying to get the right pic taken by a 4 year old 😅.

"Baby Elliott due September and we are SO excited!! 🤍🤍🤍."

The post was flooded with congratulatory messages from friends, family and fellow footy stars.

"Hooray!" Aussie model Simone Holtznagel commented underneath.

NRLW player Tarryn Aiken added: "[crying with laughter emojis] so happy for you guys! <3"

And her fellow Rosters teammate Jasmin Strange commented: "So cuteeeee congrats guys!!"

Newcastle Knights star Bradman Best added: "So Gunn! Eshay <3."

Mother-to-be Millie was positively glowing as she showed off her baby bump.

She looked chic at the beach with a white over shirt and hat.

Millie opened up to Code Sports about the baby news and revealed she and Adam made the call at the end of the 2024 season to start trying for a family.

"At the end of last season, we decided it would be nice to have a baby," she said.

"We're very grateful we've reached this stage of the pregnancy (12 weeks)."

The couple are believed to have been dating since at least October 2021.

With both playing rugby league professionally, they tied the knot in October 2023, at the end of the season.

At the time Millie shared a picture of her and her new husband walking on the beach, calling it "the best day EVER!!!!"

"Thank you to everyone who made our day so special and so much fun! It was everything we could have wished for," she wrote on Instagram at the time.

"A big thank you to our amazing vendors who made our day so enjoyable and stress free 🤍," she added.
