Radio host Malcolm T Elliott dies aged 73
Australian radio and TV host Malcolm T Elliott has died aged 73.
The media personality made a name for himself on 2GB, 2UE and 2UW and also went on to star on the TV show Blankety Blanks.

Elliot underwent five heart by-passes in 2004 and was reportedly "in poor health" in recent years according to 2GB.
On Friday morning, Alan Jones said his friend's passing was a "sad note in the world of broadcasting."
Ray Hadley also paid tribute to Elliott on his radio show.
"I know in latter years his contribution was mired in controversy, but he revolutionised breakfast radio in Australia back in the 1970s," said Hadley. "He turned breakfast radio into a formula of fun and satire, aided by the late Tony Dickinson and Peter Shanahan. The three of them made radio madcap, cutting edge and fun to listen to. He was zany, he was crazy but it was successful."
Elliott's former colleague Jason Morrison said in a tweet that the radio host was "a great entertainer and fearless".
