'Love Island Australia' star Grant is devastated after learning what Australia thinks of him
Love Island Australia's Grant is devastated after learning the public doesn't think he's good enough for Tayla.
In a challenge named Poll Dancing on Sunday, the Islanders were presented a series of questions that had been put to the public, and had to guess the answer in percentage while pole dancing. Our Federal elections operate in much the same way.
The islanders were asked, "What percentage of the public think that Tayla can do better than Grant?"
The two teams voted 75 per cent and 85 per cent respectively, with the actual answer being 74 per cent.
Later, the question "What percentage of the public think that Grant would be a faithful partner to Tayla?" was posed to the Islanders.
Representing his team, (but with very little faith in himself) Grant voted that 40 per cent of the public thought he would be faithful, but said that he wanted to prove the public wrong.
Tayla voted 75 per cent on behalf of her team, because she believed in her man.
Her belief was misplaced, however, as the actual answer was 44 per cent.
After the challenge, in the Beach Hut, Grant confessed, "I don't know why it f---ing hasn't blown over, to be honest with you," referring to the fact he dumped Cassidy for Tayla earlier in the season. "If this is the way it's gonna be, I wanna prove everyone wrong. She has a lot of trust in me and I just want to show to her that I'm 100 per cent trustable."
Later, Grant worried what it would mean for the relationship if Tayla's parents didn't approve of him.
"I know Tayla's dad is a very upfront person from what she tells me," he said. "He will make a first impression. If his first impression is what they've seen, mate, I'm not in a good boat at all."
