'Weird way' AFL couple Rory and Lexi Lobb have gone about their destination wedding
EXCLUSIVE -- AFL star Rory Lobb and his wife Lexi have revealed the "weird way" they're going about their second wedding.
The pair already got married in October, in an intimate ceremony in Toorak, Melbourne, before they jetted overseas for their honeymoon.
But now, the couple are in the Maldives for their destination wedding.
"We did things in a little bit of a weird way ... we went on our honeymoon first, mainly because we actually had a friend's wedding overseas," Lexi told nine.com.au in an exclusive interview at the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday.
"So we went to that, then our honeymoon, then tomorrow we are off to the Maldives for our destination wedding.
"We'll be there for a week with family and friends."
For a couple due to fly overseas to get married the next day, the pair were effortlessly calm during their day at Flemington Racecourse.

Lexi wore a green long-sleeve dress with a black clutch.
Rory was wearing a grey plaid suit with freshly-bleached hair.
"I feel like we just go with the flow, we know the Maldives are going to be so relaxing and so beautiful ... luckily that's all set in stone."
The couple chose the tropical paradise for their destination wedding because it's where they got engaged.
"We're excited to bring everyone back there," Lexi said.
"We're definitely going to make a conscious effort to really be switched off and just be with the people around us [on the day]."
The pair got engaged in November 2023 while on a trip to the Maldives.
They shared the news on Instagram with a photo of the massive ring.

A year later, the pair tied the knot in an intimate wedding and dinner reception in Melbourne.
They shared photos of their special day with a touching caption that read: "Our reception dinner from our intimate wedding was everything we dreamed of and more."
"A heartfelt thank you to all of the amazing support we had to bring our vision to life."
