In the latest trailer for the brutal survival flick The Revenant, Leo is not holding anything back…not even his ratty hair.

Watch the clip above to see the five-time Oscar nominee battling a bear, before tracking down Tom Hardy's equally dishevelled character in the icy mountains of Wyoming.

Could this be the movie that finally lands Leo, 40, an Oscar? After all, this is the star's first role since he was nominated for an Academy Award for his part in the 2013 flick The Wolf of Wall Street.

Well, maybe if The Revenant's director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu has anything to do with it! The filmmaker won three Oscars for Birdman at this year's Academy Awards.
