Kylie Minogue speaks out about split with Joshua Sasse, says she 'knows love'

Kylie Minogue has broken her silence for the first time since her split with ex-fiancé Joshua Sasse.

The 48-year-old Australian singer ended her engagement to the 29-year-old British actor amid cheating rumours and claims that Joshua was an "opportunist".

In her first interview since the breakup, she told the Herald Sun: "It wasn't meant to be, and so I look forward to moving on, richer for the experience."

Despite her failed engagement and not yet finding "the one", Kylie admitted to "knowing love and loving to be in love".

"I haven't had the white picket fence and happy ever after in my life, so far, but perhaps that's just not my destiny," she told the paper.

While this is the first time Kylie has spoken to the media, she confirmed the breakup earlier this month via an Instagram post thanking her fans for their support.

"Thank you now for your love and understanding with the news that Josh and I have decided to go our separate ways. We wish only the best for each other as we venture towards new horizons. #thesunalwaysrises."
