Kyle Sandilands' girlfriend Imogen Anthony reveals baby plans, addresses shock jock's health

Imogen Anthony, the girlfriend of shock jock Kyle Sandilands, has opened up about the couple's plan to start a family and the real reason why Sandilands took a two-day break from his popular breakky radio show.

The 27-year-old gushed over Sandilands, 47, in an interview with the The Saturday Telegraph, where she revealed that they "are going to get married and have kids."

"I'd really like to have one, if it is a girl. If it is a boy, though, I will try again," she told the publication while backstage at the Huffer show at New Zealand Fashion Week.

Anthony also further clarified that Sandilands had been dealing with a health issue during his brief stint off-air, and not "in hiding" as previously reported due to The Kyle & Jackie O show ending its three-year-streak as Australia's number one breakfast radio show. That top title is now held by WSFM's Brendan 'Jonesy' Jones and Amanda Keller.

"People think that when you are in this little world, you can't get upset… but at the end of the day he is only human, a great human," she said of her partner.

"He is sick at the moment. He is not well, he is adjusting his blood pressure medication."

The model was also asked about rumours that the couple may be getting a reality series. Although she didn't straight out confirm whether it's a done deal, she said if a show happened, it would include "the dynamics of the household" and the farm they share, where they raise 50 animals, which includes a camel.

"Looking after Kyle is a full-time job," she said.
