Khloé Kardashian reveals why she had to stop breastfeeding True after 3 months
Khloé Kardashian has stopped breastfeeding her 3-month-old daughter, True.
The 34-year-old opened up about her parenting decision in a tweet to fans over the weekend, after she was asked if she pumps breast milk while at work.
'It was really hard for me to stop (emotionally) but it wasn't working for my body. Sadly," she wrote.
She said that while the decision to stop breastfeeding was difficult to make, it brought her a sense of relief.
"I fought and fought to try and continue but then when I actually stopped, I didn't realize what a relief it was for me to not stress and worry anymore," she added. "Any sec I had of downtime I was stressing to produce more for the next feeding."
Kardashian and her 27-year-old boyfriend Tristan Thompson, welcomed True in April.
Despite the fact Thompson was caught cheating on Kardashian two days before their daughter's birth, the pair seem to be working through their relationship issues.
And the Kardashian-Jenner clan are being supportive.
"[The family] respect her decision," a source told People last month. "Everyone knows Khloé plans on staying with Tristan, so things have been civil so far. They still have opinions about Tristan's bad behaviour, of course, but no one wants to upset Khloé."
