Late last year she also had therapy to help her get through her trauma and her painful split from ex-husband Hank Baskett, who drove her to the hospital for one of her visits.

She has been open about her battle with mental health in the past, having being placed in a psychiatric facility as a teenager.

She was placed on antipsychotic medication during her second hospital visit.

Wilkinson said she's recently "faced her demons" and is focusing on being a mum and her new job in real estate.

She previously revealed she had suffered postnatal depression after the birth of her first child with Baskett.

"After giving birth, I never brushed my hair, my teeth, or took a shower," she told the New York Daily News three months after giving birth. "I looked in the mirror one day and was really depressed."

Wilkinson, who hails from San Diego, rose to fame as one of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends and thanks to the show, The Girls Next Door.

In 2008, she confirmed her engagement to former NFL star Hank Baskett and they got married at the Playboy mansion in 2009.

However, the once-happy pair confirmed their split in 2018.

"Today will be the saddest, scariest day of my life. Today, I will have to be the strongest I've ever been. Today, rebirth begins," Wilkinson tweeted as the former couple finalised their divorce.
