Keith Urban's ex Angie Marquis says she regrets everything about their relationship

Keith Urban's ex-girlfriend Angie Marquis isn't mincing her words over her past relationship with the country music star.

The musician and mum-of-two dated Keith, 49, for two years in the 1980s. She said in a recent interview that she's tired of being known as his former flame.

"I seem to have gained notoriety because of it. The media is always turning up," she said, according to Daily Mail.

"It's not his fault … well, I suppose it is, by default."

According to Keith's mother, Marienne Urban, the pair had an 'on and off' relationship typical of their young age. They reportedly remained friends after Keith moved to Nashville to conquer country music.

Keith, of course, married Australian actress Nicole Kidman, 49, in Sydney in 2006. It was around that time Angie said she and Keith grew apart.

"I have said a few things about Keith [publicly] in the past and he got a bit funny with me," Angie previously told New Idea about her strained relationship.

She also accused Nicole's publicity team of blocking her attempt to publish a photo book about Keith's early career.

"We wanted to start a photo book about Keith's early days but he wouldn't allow it. Who knows, maybe one day I'll write a book about it," she said, according to Daily Mail.

"I think it's Nicole's publicity who are controlling that and get funny about things."
