Katy Perry is standing by her boyfriend Orlando Bloom, silencing rumours of his infidelity with a simple tweet…and Selena Gomez is backing her up!
In a move to direct unwanted attention away from an alleged love triangle with the 23-year-old singer, Katy tweeted a link to 39-year-old Orlando's charity work with UNICEF.
Selena retweeted it, adding a praising hands emoji. "#killemwithkindness – one day they'll get it lol," she later wrote, referencing the title of her next single.
The rumour mill was buzzing over the weekend as Orlando and Selena were spotted partying together on Friday at the opening of her Revival Tour in Las Vegas.
After an alleged "cuddle-fest" in the club, the pair left together, although TMZ reported that "Selena was adamant there were other people in the car with them" as they headed out for an innocent late-night fast-food run with friends.
When Katy, 31, posted a video of Peggy Lee's "Is That All There Is?", fans took it as a sign that she had broken up with the British actor, who she's been dating since January.
But…maybe she just likes the song? Not all celeb tweets are laced with a deeper subtext.
