But this one-on-one was different. Karl Stefanovic and Chris Hemsworth bear-hugged. They had a singalong. They gazed deeply into one another's eyes.
"I actually can't concentrate on the interview because you're so good-looking," Karl said.
"I feel the same," Chris replied.

The 33-year-old remembered TODAY coming to the Thor: Ragnarok set in Brisbane back in August, and giving the team a wave.
"In Brisbane? I know. I heard you...you guys wrecked most of our takes," he deadpanned.
Despite his teasing chemistry with Karl, there was a purpose for the interview: Chris' role as the Global Ambassador for Tourism Australia.
The Hollywood hunk denied the idea that he was "the new Paul Hogan", asking, "Do we even cook shrimps on the barbie?"
The Byron Bay-based star is more keen to talk about taking his wife Elsa Pataky and his kids to locations like the Great Barrier Reef, Hamilton Island, Uluru, and The Kimberley.
