Justin Bieber was spotted ordering food at McDonald's in Cremorne, Sydney earlier this week.

A New South Wales mum posted the story on Facebook: "So my son gets home at 8pm from school, I am why so late I was getting worried. He was like I was talking and hanging out with Justin Bieber at McDonald's at Cremorne we were talking about tattoos, school, hairstyles and we were just chill with each other."

Photos posted to Facebook showed Justin chatting to his locals while holding a McFlurry. (We always knew the star had good taste.)

Instead of staying out of the public eye between concerts, the singer seems to be content living the everyday Australian experience.

Yesterday Justin surprised staff at a Manly café when he rocked up for a meal... and ordered Vegemite toast.

The Canadian pop icon was dining at Manly Wine yesterday when he asked staff member Camilla Glover: "Do you have that Aussie spread that everyone talks about?"

"I made it for him on white toast with heaps of butter and just the right amount," Camilla told the Daily Telegraph. "He enjoyed it and he ate it."

The 23-year-old singer had performed for 70,000 people in Sydney the night before and said it was "the best night of his life".

This wasn't Justin's first time trying the Aussie staple, though, as he also gave the spread a go on Nine's TODAY in 2010, in the long-standing Australian tradition of forcing international celebrities to try our famous concentrated yeast extract.

The 'Sorry' singer wasn't done partaking in Aussie cuisine - he also wanted to see what all the fuss over Australian coffee was about.

Breakfast Manager Rick Gunning said he didn't recognise the star at first, but Bieber later asked him for some coffee tips.

"He said, 'I kind of fancy a coffee. I'm not sure what I like, what would you recommend?' I said 'latte is nice.'" #expert

Staffer Camilla said Justin was polite and well-mannered. He shook hands with the staff members before he went on his way.
