'Very shaken up': JoJo Siwa reveals she was 'thrown off her golf cart' and left injured in horror accident

JoJo Siwa has issued a warning to others after having a scary accident on the golf course while driving a golf cart.
The Dance Moms star and singer, 23, shared a series of posts on her Instagram stories to her more than 10 million followers, revealing she was injured and left "shaken".
"I'm very, very lucky for how I walked away from this today," she wrote in a lengthy post.

Explaining what happened, she said she was "thrown off" the golf cart.
"Rough day today, I fell/got thrown off my golf cart."
She said the accelerator got stuck and she soon fell off.
"I fell back onto my lower back, instinctively tucked my neck as far as I could to try and protect my head, but still hit it pretty hard."

"I'm very, very lucky for how I walked away from this today," she wrote in a lengthy post. Instagram/@itsjojosiwa
"I am feeling ok, just sore," she added.
In another post, she added she "was just very shaken up and lightly injured".
"Honestly it could have been a really, really scary day with a life-changing disaster. Feeling very, very grateful and lucky to be okay."
She added to fans and golf enthusiasts to "slow down" when driving a golf cart.

Siwa, whose full name is Joelle Joanie, first rose to fame on the hit reality show Dance Moms back in 2015 which also starred Abby Lee Miller and Maddie Ziegler.
She is currently dating British TV star Chris Hughes, 33, who she met on Celebrity Big Brother UK.
The smitten pair went Instagram official last year.
In April, he shared a sweet tribute post to his girlfriend.
"One year ago today, I discovered your existence 🤍," he wrote.
"The first thing I ever said to you was, 'you're very colourful', and that colour still radiates every day! it's flown by, feels like yesterday I got out the bb house, crazy universe 🌎😌."
