Johnny Depp reportedly had an intruder break into his home and take a shower

Johnny Depp's home was reportedly broken into by an intruder, who took a shower and poured himself a drink.

The 57-year-old was informed by his security team of the incident after a neighbour initially spotted him in their garden, TMZ reports.

The neighbour informed authorities that a "homeless man" was hanging out near another neighbour's backyard pool. When he was confronted, the man jumped over a gate, bringing him closer to Depp's house.

When police arrived at Depp's home, a man was reportedly taking a shower in the actor's bathroom and wouldn't come out, TMZ reported. Eventually, the police kicked the door down and arrested the man.

There's no indication Depp was put in danger over the ordeal.

It's also not the first time this has unfolded at Depp's Hollywood Hills residence.

In January this year, police arrested a female intruder at the actor's home who was suspected of burglary.
