Joe Manganiello files for divorce two days after split from Sofía Vergara
Joe Manganiello has filed for divorce from Sofía Vergara two days after the couple of seven years announced their separation.
Legal documents filed by Manganiello's lawyer cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for divorce and note that the date of separation was July 2, 2023, as reported by TMZ.
The documents also revealed that the pair had a prenuptial agreement in place, with sources admitting the divorce should be made easier as a result.

A source close to the couple explained 'irreconcilable differences' was an accurate description of the drift that led the pair to divorce.
"Joe and Sofia split because they were living different lives," an inside told Us Weekly.
"There wasn't cheating or anything like that," they added. "They both realized that they were rarely on the same page."
Vergara and Manganiello announced their split on Monday, July 17 (Tuesday in Australia) issuing a joint statement to Page Six revealing their intention to divorce.
"We have made the difficult decision to divorce," the statement read. "As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives."

The news of the divorce came soon after Vergara's celebration of her 51st birthday in Italy with her friends, where neither Manganiello, 46, nor her wedding ring were anywhere to be seen.
A source also added: "Sofía and Joe have been growing apart for a while now and are taking some distance from each other to contemplate their future."
Fans began speculating the couple's marriage was over after Vergara posted a photo of herself in Italy along with the caption, "When life gives u lemons u come to Italy to squeeze them."

One fan wrote under Vergara's snap, "Is anyone else wondering where Joe [is]?"
The duo tied the knot back in November 2015 after being engaged for a year. They share no children.
