Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence to play sisters in upcoming film
The blossoming friendship between hilarious Hollywood women Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence has just stepped up level. That's right you guys, they're making it official and…creating a film together!
Our new fave besties are working side-by-side every step of the way, from conception to completion.
"We play sisters," J-Law told The New York Times. "We're almost done writing. It just flowed out of us. We've got about 100 pages right now."
We can always count on Jennifer Lawrence to tell it how it is. The Hunger Games actress revealed that she was totally girl-crushing on the Trainwreck star before they even met, so much so that her first email to Amy went something along the lines of: "...'I guess I should just say it: I'm in love with you.'"
Luckily, the feeling was mutual. Soon they were regularly emailing, "then emailing turned to texting." Cute!
"Amy and I were creatively made for each other," she continued. "We have different flavours. It's been the most fun experience of my life."
More fun than a jet-ski joyride? Wow, this must be good.
Like most gal pals, they've quickly become inseparable. "We start the day off on the phone, laughing," she shared. "And then we send each other pages. And we crack up. I'm flying out tomorrow to see her in Chicago. We'll write a little bit with her sister, Kim, who worked with Amy when she was writing Trainwreck.”
Umm… who else is completely losing their s--- right now?!
