Reality star Jiggly Caliente dies aged 44 days after leg amputation: 'Her legacy is one of love, courage and light'
Jiggly Caliente, best known for starring on RuPaul's Drag Race, has died three days after a leg amputation. She was 44.
The drag performer's family announced her death with "profound sorrow" in a heartbreaking social media statement, shortly after her death on April 27.
The star, whose real name was Bianca Castro-Arabejo, "passed away peacefully" surrounded by her loved ones, her family shared.

"A luminous presence in the worlds of entertainment and advocacy, Jiggly Caliente was celebrated for her infectious energy, fierce wit, and unwavering authenticity," the statement read.
Her family remembered the star for having "touched countless lives through her artistry, activism, and the genuine connection she fostered with fans around the world."
"Her legacy is one of love, courage and light," the statement continued.

They said she would be "deeply missed, always loved, and eternally remembered."
The post was inundated with messages of condolences.
"My heart, my soul, my jiggles….i will always love you," RuPaul's Drag Race judge Michelle Visage commented.

Fellow RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Jujubee, whose real name is Airline Inthyrath, wrote a heartfelt message: "I love you, my sister. I will forever remember our giggles together. I'm so grateful we met this lifetime."
Another RuPaul's Drag Race contestant, Morphine Love Dion, said: "I cannot stop crying. I love you so much I wish I can hug you one more time this can't be real."

Jiggly Caliente rose to fame as a contestant on season four of RuPaul's Drag Race.
She became a judge on RuPaul's Drag Race Philippines in 2022.
