Jessica Marais pulls out of Logies to focus on 'urgent health issues'
After announcing her absence from tonight's Logie Awards, its been revealed that Love Child star Jessica Marais has sought treatment for "a number of urgent health issues".
The Gold Logie nominee, who is also up for a Silver Logie for Most Popular Actress, was admitted to The Sydney Clinic at Bronte two weeks ago, The Sunday Telegraph reports.

On Wednesday, Marais' management team issued the following statement to TheFIX:
"It is with much disappointment that we advise Jessica Marais is unable to attend the TV Week Logie Awards due to her health," RGM Artists stated.
"Jess is naturally disappointed, is grateful to TV Week and all the viewers who have nominated her for the Awards this year and wishes all the nominees and her friends a great celebration on Sunday night," the statement continued.
Marais is in the running for the Gold Logie alongside Tracy Grimshaw, Amanda Keller, Andrew Winter, Grant Denyer and Rodger Corser.

She has previously won Most Popular New Female Talent and Most Outstanding New Talent in 2009, the Most Popular Actress in 2016, and a Silver Logie for Best Actress last year.
Marais is best-known for her roles on Australian drama series Packed to the Rafters, Love Child and The Wrong Girl.
The blonde star has opened up to media outlets about her battle with bipolar disorder which she said she has suffered since the age of 12.
Marais has a six-year-old daughter to former partner, actor James Stewart, who is understood to be caring for their daughter Scout.
