Jason Momoa opens up about his new girlfriend weeks after confirming romance

Jason Momoa opened up about his private relationship with his new girlfriend, Adria Arjona, during The Bikeriders premiere in Los Angeles. 

The actor, 44, said he usually enjoys riding solo on his motorcycle, but recently, he's had some company. 

Momoa told Entertainment Tonight that his girlfriend, Arjona, 32, enjoys riding with him: "My lady likes to ride."

"Any excuse for more hugs," the actor added whilst being interviewed on the red carpet. 

Following his split from wife, Lisa Bonet, Momoa confirmed his new relationship via Instagram, sharing snaps from his trip to Japan with friends.

In one shot, he's seen wrapping his arms around the actress as the pair enjoyed dinner with friends. In another image, she poses underneath a Harley-Davidson sign.

Within his post, the Aquaman star called Arjona his "mi amor," which means "my love".

"Japan, you are a dream come true you blew my mind," he wrote.

"We're so thankful for everyone who opened their homes, making memories with new friends and old friends, sharing another amazing adventure with mi amor. ON THE ROAM motorcycles and mayhem. All my aloha j."

During Basingstoke Comic Con in the UK, he also admitted he was: "very much in a relationship", adding: "You'll find out very soon... I've been in a relationship for a while."

In January, it was reported that Momoa and Lisa Bonet were awarded joint legal custody of their children just days after filing for divorce.

According to People, the former couple were "awarded joint legal custody" of daughter Lola, 16, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 15.

The separation date listed was October 7, 2020. The couple married in October 2017 and had been dating for over a decade before tying the knot.
