James Blunt had a hilarious response when someone questioned his invitation to the Royal Wedding
If J.K. Rowling is the queen of Twitter, then James Blunt is the king.
The British musician had a few choice words for some Twitter users who wondered why he was invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Royal Wedding on Saturday -- and he didn't need 280 characters to demolish them.
When one sassy fan tweeted, "Who invited James Blunt to the royal wedding?" Blunt had a witty AF reply.
"I'll give you two guesses," the 44-year-old quipped.
Blunt and Prince Harry may seem like unlikely friends, but they actually go way back. The pair have bonded over the fact they both served in the British army -- Harry in 2007 and 2012, and Blunt served between 1996 and 2002, three years before he became a singer. And they've grown so close over the years that the royal invited Blunt to perform at the 2016 Invictus Games opening ceremony.

Bizarrely, Blunt's involvement in the games and link to Prince Harry was questioned at the time, too. But again, the muso shut down the naysayers the best way he knew how -- on Twitter.
"Who the f--- invited James Blunt to the Invictus Games? He better be out of Disney World before I get there," a critic tweeted.
"Prince Harry by text. BOOM!" replied Blunt.

While Blunt appears like the ultimate British gentleman, he's far from that on Twitter, happily serving up what his haters dish out. He even has Internet sites that are dedicated to collating his hilarious Twitter comebacks. Mashable have paid tribute, as have Buzzfeed, who crowned Blunt Twitter winner in 2014.
