Irina Shayk and Cristiano Ronaldo 'split' after four years together

Russian actress Irina Shayk has reportedly dumped her hot pro-footballer boyfriend Cristiano Ronaldo.

The pair, who have been dating for four years, are said to have split over the holidays after the 29-year-old supermodel had a fallout with Cristiano's mum.

Irina was also a no-show to see the Real Madrid player collect his Ballon d'Or award in Zurich on Monday night, sparking further rumours they've headed to splits-ville.

But a spokesperson for the Hercules star blamed Irina's absence at the awards ceremony on her conflicting work schedules.

"[The Ballon d'Or] didn't fit in with her schedule," the rep told Goal. "It was because of work commitments. We have no further comment to make."

Over the past week, Irina has been posting birthday snaps from the Maldives, with the latest dropping on the very day of the Ballon d'Or ceremony… Awkward.
