Actor Ioan Gruffudd's ex Alice Evans claims their youngest daughter is 'inconsolable' over his new romance

The estranged wife of Fantastic 4 star Ioan Gruffudd has claimed their youngest daughter is "inconsolable" amid reports of his new romance.

Through a series of tweets shared today, Alice Evans said the Marvel star has yet to tell their daughters Ella, 12, and Elsie, eight, that they are divorcing, and as a result, Elsie is beside herself and unable to attend school.

"Her whole little world has collapsed," Evans claimed on Twitter, adding that their daughters were under the impression he may still come home.

"He hasn't even told them about the divorce yet. They think he might come back. All his clothes are still where he left them a year ago. Toothbrush, creams, everything."

Curious Twitter users then asked Evans if Gruffudd at least maintained regular contact with their kids, to which she replied: "No. He calls Elsie for 2 minutes twice a week and talks about how beautiful his hotel is. Never more than 2 mins. Never on the weekend."

The British actress then claimed that Gruffudd reassured their youngest daughter he wasn't in a relationship just last week.

"I wanted them to maintain a good relationship with him if possible. The really awful things he has done to me I've kept to myself," she tweeted. "But now - I mean - to LIE about adultery and PROMISE an eight-year-old you'd never ever have a girlfriend? Even LAST WEEK!"

However, yesterday Evans accused the actor of having an affair with her friend Bianca Wallace for the past three years after he debuted their relationship on Instagram yesterday. 

"So it turns out that my husband, after two years of telling me I'm a bad person and I'm not exciting and he no longer want so to have sex with me and he just wants to be on set abroad…Has been in a relationship for THREE years behind all our backs," she claimed via Twitter. "Good luck, Bianca."

Evans' original tweets have since been deleted and Gruffudd has not responded to her claims. But a wardrobe assistant who worked alongside Gruffudd and Wallace told the Daily Mail she has "personally known Bianca for years and they have NOT even known each other for three years let alone have an affair!!"

Gruffudd filed for divorce from Evans in March this year after almost 14 years of marriage. The couple first met on the set of 102 Dalmatians back in 2000 and were married in 2007.
