Her bad! Kaley Cuoco apologises for not waving the feminist flag in interview

She may not consider herself a proud feminist, but Kaley Cuoco is woman enough to say she's sorry.

After sparking Twitter outrage for declaring herself a non-feminist in a Redbook interview, Kaley quickly apologised on Instagram.

"Some people have taken offense to my comments regarding feminism — if any of you are in the 'biz' you are well aware of how words can be taken out of context," she wrote. "I'm completely blessed and grateful that strong women have paved the way for my success along with many others.

"I apologize if anyone was offended. Anyone that truly knows me, knows my heart and knows what I meant."

In the article that opened this can of worms, when asked if she considers herself a feminist, Kaley replied, "Is it bad if I say no?" She went on to say that she enjoys bringing home the bacon (a reported $1 million per episode on The Big Bang Theory) and cooking it for husband Ryan Sweeting...five nights a week.

"It makes me feel like a housewife," she said. "I love that. I know it sounds old-fashioned, but I like the idea of women taking care of their men."

Clearly not everyone shared her sentiments.

"If you like being a housewife that is wonderful! Feminism gives you that choice!" one person tweeted. Another added, "Someone should tell Kaley Cuoco that you can cook for your man, take care of him, and be a feminist."
