George Clooney cuts his own hair on live TV with a Flowbee

George Clooney has just proven he's his own hairstylist, by cutting his own hair on live TV.

Just days ago, the actor revealed that he has been cutting his hair with the Flowbee — the 1980s vacuum-based haircutting device — for 25 years.

In an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, host Jimmy Kimmel brought out two Flowbees so Clooney, 59, could explain how it works and put his skills to the test.

"You turn the vacuum on. You turn the buzzer on. You go to town, like this on your hair," Clooney said, before using the Flowbee on himself.

Kimmel, 53, followed along with Clooney using another Flowbee at the same time. "You do it that fast?" he asked.

"Can't hear you, I'm Flowbeeing!" Clooney jokingly replied.

The Oscar-winning actor went on to add that he originally had his assistant purchase a Flowbee for him from an infomercial, but then "it broke down and you couldn't get them for a while."

"I got her to Flowbee my hair for me. I don't do it myself, my God. That's cheap," he said.

The filmmaker first revealed he's been using the infomercial product for more than two decades.

"My hair is really like straw," Clooney told CBS Sunday Morning. "So it's easy to cut, can't really make too many mistakes. So years ago, I bought a thing called a Flowbee. The thing with the vacuum cleaner and clippers, yeah. I still have it. My haircuts take, literally, two minutes."

According to Fortune magazine, Flowbee sales surged amid the coronavirus pandemic, when access to hair salons and barbershops in the US became limited.
