Gabi Grecko confirms estranged husband Geoffrey Edelsten died on their wedding anniversary
Gabi Grecko has confirmed her estranged husband, Geoffrey Edelsten, died on their wedding anniversary.
The aspiring rapper made the confirmation after she stumbled across an article online that stated Edelsten passed away on June 11, exactly six years to the day they were married.
"He passed away on our wedding anniversary this makes it ironically more 😞," the 32-year-old Florida native wrote on Instagram, as she shared a screenshot of the article.

When one of her 63k followers commented, "I actually feel sad that he's passed," Grecko replied, "was so out of nowhere".
According to the Florida native, she and Edelsten were still married at the time of his death. The pair tied the knot in a low-key ceremony held at a registry in Melbourne's Chinatown on June 11, 2015. Edelsten later explained the reason for the quickie ceremony was because Grecko's visa was due to expire in 10 hours.
"Yes, it's true her visa expires at midnight, we were conscious of it when we decided to get married but arrangements were made long before that," he told the Daily Mail at the time. "[The visa] was not a major problem. She's on a travel visa and now has a bridging visa for permanent residency. That wasn't the main reason for the rush but it made sense to do it now."

The couple's marriage was far from smooth sailing, with the duo breaking up and making up numerous times throughout their union before splitting for good in April 2019. According to Grecko, they were actually still legally married at the time of his death.
"For people who have asked. No me and Geoffrey were still married when he passed away, no divorce, widowed," she told her Instagram followers earlier this week.
The medical entrepreneur reportedly died alone inside his Melbourne apartment last week, aged 78.
