FKA Twigs says it's a 'miracle I came out alive' after alleged abusive relationship with Shia LaBeouf
FKA Twigs has revealed more detail about the alleged abuse she suffered while dating Shia LaBeouf.
FKA Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, said it's a "miracle I came out alive" in an interview with Elle.
The 33-year-old British performer described the "calculated, systematic, tricky and maze-like" dynamic between her and LaBeouf.

It was December when Barnett filed a lawsuit against the actor, who she dated from 2018 to 2019 after meeting on the set of Honey Boy.
Barnett also recalled an incident where they were driving home from a spa on Valentine's Day and feared for her life. It's the same story that she claims unfolded in her lawsuit.
"I was thinking to myself, 'I wonder what would happen to my body...if [we] smashed into a wall at 80 miles per hour?' I was looking for the airbag and I couldn't see the airbag sign, so I was thinking, 'If he doesn't have an airbag, will this car crush my sternum?'" she told the outlet.
"I was thinking, 'Oh no, if I crouch like that, and the front of the car crashes into my head, will it snap my neck?'"

Last week, LaBeouf responded to the lawsuit by denying "each and every" abuse allegation Barnett has filed.
In a statement provided to People, LaBeouf "denies, generally and specifically, each and every allegation contained in [Barnett]'s Complaint, denies that [Barnett] has sustained any injury or loss by reason of any act or omission on the part of [LaBeouf], and denies that [Barnett] is entitled to any relief or damages whatsoever".
Additionally, the actor requested Barnett pay for his legal costs.
