Singing siblings make Jessie J's team...before being upstaged by nine-year-old baby sister on The Voice
The Voice has taken sibling rivalry to a whole new level.
On last night's show, Nada-Leigh Nasser made Jessie J's team during the blind auditions, after which she revealed that Jessie's previous pick, Jasmin Jade Nasser, was her sister. What a coincidence, right?
But wait, it gets better. The talented sisters prompted Jessie's fellow coach Delta Goodrem to ask if they had any other talented family members out there. It turns out they did: nine-year-old Aaliyah Rose.
"She could outsing anyone," Nada-Leigh warned...and she was right. Aaliyah Rose proceeded to blow everyone away with a top-notch rendition of Tori Kelly's 'Paper Hearts'.
Even though she was upstaged by a nine-year-old and must now duke it out with her other sister on Team Jessie, it was a particularly triumphant moment for Jasmin Jade. Last year, she auditioned as a duo with her boyfriend, and none of the coaches spun around for them.
Things should be pretty interesting in the Nasser household over the next few weeks.
