EXCLUSIVE: Macy Gray says she 'annoyed' Nicole Kidman by asking for a selfie

She might have hit triple platinum, had five Grammy nominations and won an array of music awards but that didn't stop Macy Gray getting all fan girl with Nicole Kidman.
In fact, the singer-songwriter confessed to TheFIX that she "messed up" when it came to working with Hollywood starlet Nicole on 2012 flick Paperboy.
She told us: "I was awestruck by Nicole. I think she was a bit annoyed by it actually because I asked to take a picture with her.
"I think I messed up in doing that because it made things awkward but what else was I supposed to do? She’s, like, this God of acting. "
Yep, it sounds a little awkward. Macy, 45, also revealed that while Nic was a little frosty, she did form a close bond to Zac Efron during filming the flick.
She added: “Zac and I really hit off though, we hang out a lot and connected. He’s a lovely man."
After quite the musical hiatus, Macy is back with an Australian tour in 2015 for her new studio album The Way.
